Weekdays

5:00a-6:00a: America in the Morning. Cheshire County starts the day with America in the Morning, Westwood One’s award-winning radio news magazine, because news doesn’t stop when you’re sleeping. America in the Morning offers up-to-the-minute news reporting from around the country and across the globe, with the latest overnight developments in breaking news, politics, entertainment, business and weather, delivered first thing in the morning. Plus Pat Pagano has your local weather.

Program host John Trout and his staff of correspondents provide a fast paced look at the world, with specialized reports from where news happens. America in the Morning goes in-depth with analysis of critical events, and searches out stories of everyday life, with Jim Bohannon’s daily “The Offbeat.”

Business reports from CNBC will keep you updated on the markets, America in the Morning sports experts will have late night scores, and AccuWeather provides the latest on America’s weather, with storm warnings, weather patterns and state of the art forecasts.

Trout, a seasoned radio and television broadcaster, has worked in a wide-range of capacities within the radio industry, including on-air host, newscaster, sales manager, and program director. He’s a two time recipient of the Achievement in Radio award.

6:00a-10:00a: The Dan Mitchell Morning show & Open Mic with Dan Mitchell – Host Dan Mitchell offers listeners the information they need and conversations on all the happenings of the day. Along with Sean Patrik in the WKBK News Center, CBS news, and staff meteorologist Pat Pagano, this fast-paced program is how Keene residents get to work informed and entertained. 9am-10am features Keene’s long-running local call-in talk program featuring locally born and raised Dan Mitchell. All topics are discussed, all issues are investigated!

Fridays 10:00a-12:00p: The John McGauley Show. Former Keene Sentinel Columnist, John McGauley, offers interesting guest and local conversations on the issues of the day. Funny and informative, call John at 603-357-1290.

10:00a-12:00n: The Hugh Hewitt Show. Professor Hugh Hewitt is a lawyer, law professor and broadcast journalist whose nationally syndicated radio show is heard in more than 120 cities across the United States every weekday morning.

12:00n-3:00p: The Grace Curly Show –  Grace was born in Milton, Massachusetts. In 2014 she graduated from Providence College. She started working at the Howie Carr Show shortly thereafter. She is now Host of the Grace Curley Show, sometimes Producer at the Howie Carr Show, and a columnist for the Boston Herald. She still reads Hate Mail Monday and Police Blotter Fax Friday every week. Her expertise includes celebrity break-ups, reality TV and pop culture news in general.

3:00-6:00p: WKBK Afternoon News.  Stay up to date during your ride home with National News from CBS and Local News updates with Abbie Trombly twice an hour.

3:00p – 7:00p: Howie Carr – Carr, a native of Portland, Maine is a graduate of Deerfield Academy and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.  A fun and informative way to drive home from work.  When he turns the microphone off, he is an award-winning front-page columnist for the Boston Herald. Known for his scathing exposes of local politicians, he has raised lots of eyebrows and voices over the years. He’s famous for pushing the envelope and not regretting that he went too far. His opinion is valued by the TV stations he’s regularly featured on: NBC Today; MSNBC; C-SPAN; Court TV; Geraldo; CNN; Larry King Live; The Fox News Network; CBS This Morning. New England tunes in to Howie Carr. Carr lives in Wellesley. He is married and has five daughters.

7:00p-9:00p: Markley, Van Camp And RobbinsJamie Markley, David van Camp and Scott Robbins are bringing their talents with their laid-back banter about all of the hottest headlines from across the country. Whether it is political chatter coming from Washington or the latest case of “Florida Man”, MVR will make sure you are aware of what’s going on — and their unique takes on every topic.

9:00 pm to 1:00 am: John Batchelor Show- This show is for the thoughtful Listener who wants to understand the major players in the great ideological battle of the new millennium.

1:00a-5:00a: George Noory| Coast to Coast: a nightly radio show hosted by George Noory, explores the world of the paranormal, alternative ideas, and the unexplained.

Saturdays

5:10am-6:00am :”The Takeout” is a weekly show about politics, policy and pop culture hosted by CBS News Chief White House Correspondent Major Garrett. Listeners can expect context and analysis of the week’s political news in a casual format that allows for expanded conversation with a newsmaker. Each episode is recorded over a meal at a Washington, D.C. restaurant.

6:00a-700a: Wake-up with America’s First News — Host Gordon Deal goes beyond the headlines with the day’s first look at news and business from the U.S. and around the world; bringing a lively blend of intelligent information, humor, and expert analysis to morning radio. The This Morning news team features reports with News Anchor Jennifer Kushinka and Producer Mike Gavin.

1:00p-3:00p: Around the House with Eric G. Our goal is to help homeowners and contractors tackle those projects that they seem beyond their abilities. This is not your typical handyman show as we take a deeper dive into projects so you know how to complete them. We will help you tackle that new project while keeping your health and wellness in mind. Eric Goranson, CKD is a Certified Kitchen Designer with the National Kitchen and Bath Association for over 20 years and has been designing since 1993. Nationally recognized as “Eric G®”, he is a syndicated 10-year home improvement radio talk show host.

3:00p – 6:00p: Handel On The Law Bill Handel, a lawyer, answers callers legal questions in a straight forward, easy to understand way.

7:00a-10:00a:Paul Parent’s Garden Club. Paul Parent was our long time Sunday morning garden expert. He passed away in August of 2018. Paul’s son Patrick, an experienced gardener, has taken over helping out our local gardeners.

10:00a-11:00a – ChurchA live broadcast of the Sunday service from The United Church of Christ in Keene, located at 23 Central Square.

11:05-12:00: CBS News Sunday Morning hosted by Jane Pauley. The same program you enjoy on television is now on WKBK.

12:00pm-1:00pm: NBC’s Meet the Press – Kristen Welker is the moderator of “Meet the Press.”, interviews and news makers from around the world.

1:00pm-2:00pm: The Motley Fool Money Show – Hosted by Chris Hill, Its companion podcast is consistently ranked as one of the top business & investing shows on iTunes. The show features features a team of Motley Fool analysts discussing the week’s top business and investing stories.

2:00pm-5:00pm: Rich on Tech. Rich on Tech is a new three-hour week program featuring Rich DeMuro, host of the popular Rich on Tech segment on KTLA-TV Channel 5 in Los Angeles and the weekly podcast of the same name.
Each week, Rich will discuss important consumer technology news, trends, helpful tips and gadget reviews. He’ll also answer listener questions in this fun and entertaining radio program.

5:00pm-7:00pm: Jill on Money. Host Jill Schlesinger, CFP®, tackles sometimes uncomfortable and even controversial money and investing issues, without the financial jargon, to get to the heart of what’s important for anyone to know.
