Don’t Feed The Bears!
From the Swanzey Police:
As a friendly reminder, do not feed bears and do not leave bird feeders out! There have been several bear sightings in the last few days and we have found that the bears have had ample opportunity to fill their bellies at bird feeders, trash receptacles and people feeding the bears. If you have a complaint about a nuisance bear, please contact NH Fish & Game during normal business hours to report the nuisance. If there is an emergency/threat to someone’s safety, call Swanzey PD or 911.
